Anyone have some new ideas on what to do in Lancaster, PA?

I'm going there next month with my hubby for our anniversery. I've been there a few times before. I've done the outlet shopping, the Amish tour, the all you can eat buffets, even Dutch Wonderland. Anyone have any new ideas of places to go or things to do?

  1. Get up at 0500 and help the locals raise a barn.
  2. One suggestion would be Sight and Sound Theater. If you have never been there,it is really wonderful. It is a theater that does really great productions based on the Bible. They usually use live animals and the stages are are on three sides of the theater. It is not an amateur show.Even if you aren't very religious, the show itself is just amazing.I am going there myself on Sept.20.Tickets are usually about 40 bucks, might be a little more on the weekends.I'm sure they have a website, just type in Sight and Sound.
  3. You could try the inner-city itself - there's the Central Market @ Penn Square (the center of town-on King St). You can find some pretty cool things just wandering around that part of town. I think there are museums & theatres in town too like the Fulton Opera House. Outside of town you could check out the Strasburg Railroad, which is pretty neat.
