What does ownership of a house grant you and what doess possession of a house grant you?

Ok i really need to know a few things about the difference between house ownership and possession and what does a person with ownership over a house have over a personj who has possession.

1. generally same thing, as house ownership can mean house possession, although possessing a house (as in a renter situation) does not mean he owns that house (as having the name on the house title or deed). A hosue owner can do whatever he wants with the house including puttng many nails on the wall, while a renter may not. However, both can run around naked inside if they so choose.
