In Philadelphia, where is the best place to park when going to the thanksgiving day parade?

My husband and I are planning to go to the thanksgiving day parade in Philadelphia this year. We are told that the best place to view is by the art museum. is this true? if not where is the best place to view? And more important where is the best place to park that is nearby? Any and all tips or advice would be so much appreciated.

1. Viewing the parade near the art museum is a good bet, but there won't be much for parking in that area. Why not take the train into downtown to Suburban Station.
