Is a person who is very liberal on social issues and fiscally moderate considered a centrist?

I'm more liberal on social issues than most people who say they are socially liberal, but on fiscal issues i'm in the middle. Would I be considered a centrist or center-left?

Public Comments

  1. People usually put money before social issues when they cast their ballots. But yeah, you're a centrist.
  2. id call this person level headed, not dumb, his /her mama didnt raise no fool type of person.
  3. Look, being what you perceive as liberal on "social issues" means you give a damn about what others are going through. Being an actual liberal on social issues means you think throwing money at a given issue, rather than just simple awareness, will somehow magically help its cause. Therefore, being a true liberal would require you to be fiscally liberal as well. You're nothing more than a conservative. The news media has convinced you that to be a conservative means you have to turn a blind eye to social issues, and in reality, nothing could possibly be further from the truth.
  4. Youd be considered liberal douchebag lite
  5. Liberals are the new Luddites. If you are not conservative, you are a neo-luddite.
  6. So you are feel good on social issues and you can`t make up your mind on fiscal issues. Your a liberal
  7. I suppose that's possible. Despite what Rush Limbaugh says, the world is not black and white.
  8. a person with no life and no personality! consider yourself as nobody.
  9. I would not call you a centrist at all. There is not a label for someone like, you, it is best to explain as you did in your question or Liberal on social issues yet fiscally responsible.
